Adult Services Fund of the Monticello-Union Township Public Library
Established to enhance adult programs and services of the library
Francis and Beulah Altman Scholarship Fund
Provides a scholarship to a graduating senior at Frontier High School pursuing
a degree in Education; preference is given to a student attending Indiana State
University.  The Altmans farmed in White County, and Beulah was a long-time
teacher.
Wayne C. Anderson Memorial Fund
Established to celebrate Wayne “Pinky” Anderson’s (1923-2006) many
contributions to the White County community, grants may be awarded in
areas of veterans affairs, church, government service, or community
enhancement.
John Bartoo and Ida Bartoo Scholarship Fund
Little is known of John Bartoo and Ida Bartoo, except that they farmed,
most likely in Benton County.  Pursuant to the Bartoo trust used to establish
the fund, this fund provides a scholarship to a graduating Tri-County senior
pursuing post-secondary education in agriculture or agri-business.
Louis Blum Memorial Scholarship Fund
Established in memory of Louis Blum (1951-2006), founder of Alloy Custom
Products in Delphi, this scholarship supports a student pursuing a degree in
mechanical engineering at Purdue University or a welding degree at Ivy Tech
Community College.  It is available to students at Twin Lakes High School
and Delphi High School.
Bee Bumble Run-Walk Fund*
Established as a charitable vehicle for this very successful annual community
event in Burnettsville, begun in 2000 and held in conjunction with Burnettsville’s
Fall Community Days festival in September.  
BLF Opportunity Fund
An advised fund established to support the charitable interests of its founder
Building & Grounds Fund of the Monticello-Union
Township Public Library
Supports needs and opportunities of the library’s physical facility
Dr. Preston & Carolyn K. Calvert Community Youth Fund
The building that houses WCCF previously was owned by the Calvert family,
who desired that it be used to serve children and youth.  This fund was
established in their honor with atching funds (based on the appraised value
of the building when it was transferred to WCCF) granted during Lilly
Endowment GIFT Phase III.
CDC Resources Fund for Disabled Children and Adults
Agency fund that provides support to CDC Resources, Inc.
Children’s Services Fund of the
Monticello-Union Township Public Library
Established to support and enhance children’s programming at the library
John and Kathie Connelly Scholarship Fund
This scholarship, established in 2007, is awarded to a graduating senior from
Frontier High School who has earned a letter in sports during his/her senior
year, has a strong academic record, and who is in need of financial assistance
in order to attend college. John (1944-2009) taught and coached at Frontier
and Delphi High Schools after graduating from college, followed by a long
career on the Mercantile Exchange.  
Mildred L. Cox Band Boosters Fund
Established from Mildred L. Cox Trust assets, this fund assists the Twin Lakes
Band Boosters in its support of the Twin Lakes Band program.
Mildred L. Cox Scholarship Fund
Established through the Mildred L. Cox (1909-2003) Trust, scholarships from
this fund are awarded to Twin Lakes graduating seniors, or previous TL
graduates enrolled in a college or university, for whom financial assistance is
a necessity.
Gordon and Marilyn Denton Scholarship Fund
Established by these long-time Chalmers-area farmers, this scholarship is
awarded to a Frontier graduating senior who is pursuing higher education or
training; applicants must demonstrate involvement in 4-H and/or interest in
music and the arts.
Encouraging Entrepreneurship Scholarship Fund*
Established in memory of Paul Koertge (1927-2011), this scholarship is
awarded to a graduating senior from a White County high school pursuing a
college degree in business or entrepreneurship.  From a single cottage
purchased in 1959, Paul and Yvonne Koertge built the well-known Riviera
Resort in Monticello; this scholarship is designed to encourage that legacy of
adventure and commitment to community.
W. H. “Dub” and Nancy Fike Family Fund
A fund established by the Fike Family to support the White County Food Pantry
Ross and Beverly Fischer “Helping Hands” Fund
Established in honor of the Fischers’ many contributions to the well-being of
This community, the fund can provide grants to address a variety of charitable
needs and opportunities.
Frontier Educational Foundation Fund
Provides support and recognition for teachers in the
Frontier School Corporation
